Dip the spa test strip into the spa water to test the:

  1. Spa sanitizer levels
  2. Alkalinity levels
  3. pH levels

Match the colours on the spa test strip to the side of the test strip container for the following.

Spa sanitizer - will kill bacteria and stop algae and contaminants growing and surviving in the spa water. If low add spa sanitizer.

Alkalinity and pH - If low then the water will become acidic (add alkalinity / pH increaser). If alkalinity and pH is high (add Alkalinity / pH reducer).
